Weekly Masking at Home
Self-care isn’t something we can forget, because, without it, things tend to fall apart. And so, it’s become a constant conversation and ritual at FOUND, for our loved ones and for our customers to partake in.
We are so lucky to have the handmade goodness from Poppy & Someday. Certified organic ingredients, handmade, in a recyclable glass container with screen-printed labels. Today the specific self-care we’re talking about is routine and masking. This powerful combination of earth, herbs and crystals should be honored by using consistently each week and left on for a good 20-minutes to allow for the magic happen—letting your skin glow from pore decongestion, inflammation, and hydration. Follow up with a toner (or mix this mask with a toner rather than water) and moisturizer and go big—let your skin soak up what it needs, especially after using a clay-based mask in the high desert like Bend, Oregon. Your face, lips, neck, and shoulders all need some masking and moisturizing love—not just your gorgeous, naturally beautiful face—make sure do to something lovely while your mask is drying. More self-love equals less folding laundry. xo

Legends and myths abound around Rose Quartz. Beauty-wise, the Egyptian goddess Isis apparently rubbed river-tumbled rose quartz over her face in upward motions and around the eyes to help retain her beauty. According to Ayurvedic texts, the radiant energy of warmed rose quartz crystals as they are massaged on the skin, along the energy channels (Nadi) and energy points (Marmas), replenishes and restores the energy centers within the body.
SUGGESTED USE: Mix this luxurious face mask with water, honey, or Gypsy Rose Toner and then apply to face. Let dry and rinse off. Follow with Ojas Face Serum or moisturizer of choice. This crystal-infused face mask will cleanse your pores from impurities while nourishing and restoring your skin cells.
